《觀經疏》〈玄義分〉:
The teaching of rebirth in the Land of Bliss through meditative virtues was requested by Vaidehi, while that through non-meditative virtues was given by the Buddha without being requested by anyone.
定善一門,韋提致請;散善一門,是佛自說。
