Those who always exclusively recite Amitabha’s Name are not likely to have mental illness. If they have the misfortune to get Alzheimer’s disease due to past karma, they can still certainly be reborn. This is because it is a sickness due to bodily karma not mental (psychological) karma.
一向專稱之人,不至於得「精神病」,若因宿業故,得「老人癡呆症」,亦必往生;因為此乃官能上身業之症狀,非心理上意業之退轉。
