Because of karmic obstructions, sentient beings initially believe, but also doubt. The more the doubts are cleared, the more they can deeply believe. This is because all sentient beings in the world of five kinds of turbidity have “turbidity of view”. If a person wishes to fully believe, he must eliminate his doubt of Amitabha’s Vow Power due to his “turbidity of view”.
眾生皆因業障故,初信而又疑,解決了疑慮之後方能深信。蓋因五濁惡世眾生 ,皆有見濁故,欲其一信到底,總須破其見濁中對彌陀願力之疑。
