Master Huijing’s Short Dharma Teachings about Faith in Pure Land Buddhism
淨土信仰
Pure Land teaching is based upon “believing in Amitabha-recitation”, rather than “cultivating various practices”. It abides in the belief in and acceptance of Amitabha’s deliverance in accordance with his Fundamental Vow. It does not rely on the cultivation of self-powered practices such as the Six Paramitas.
淨土門是「信念佛」而非「修諸行」之教,是依靠信受彌陀本願「救度」之教,而非依靠自己修行「六度」萬行之教。
