Master Huijing’s Short Dharma Teaching about Faith in Pure Land Buddhism

Other Buddhist schools and teachings ultimately aim for “pure mind, then pure land”. Because of this, practitioners have to practice and realize fruition in the Saha World life after life. It is only the Pure Land School, whose practice leads to rebirth in Amitabha’s Pure Land in the present lifetime. After we become buddhas in Amitabha’s Pure Land, our deep compassion leads us to return to this world to deliver sentient beings. Based on this principle, we follow the teaching of “pure land, then pure mind”.
佛教其他宗派、法門,最終都以「心淨國土淨」為目的,生生世世在這娑婆世界修行證果;唯有淨土宗是以今生往生彌陀淨土、在彌陀淨土成佛之後,倒駕慈航為宗旨、目的,是「國土淨心淨」的法門。
