A verse explaining “merely through the mind of ten-recitations” from “In Praise of the Rite of Rebirth”
善導大師語錄《往生禮讚》「唯須十念心」之偈:
It is difficult to become a human being again in this defiled land.
However, Amitabha’s Pure Land Vows are exceedingly deep.
So, don’t say the Land in the West is very far,
You can reach it easily through the mind of ten-recitations.
濁世難還入,淨土願逾深;
莫謂西方遠,唯須十念心。
Namo Amituofo!
