Ascending to heaven by merits and virtues attained through receiving and upholding precepts,
Is just like shooting an arrow into the sky.
The arrow will eventually fall when there is no more momentum.
The result is misfortune in a future life.
布施持戒生天福,猶如仰箭射虛空;
勢力盡,箭還墜,招得來生不如意。
