Even Shakyamuni Buddha could not be exempted from the smoke of Candana (cremation).
Sorrow inevitably comes when joy ends.
Even heavenly beings must encounter the day of the Five Kinds of Decay.
生者必滅,釋尊未免旃檀煙;
樂盡哀來,天人猶逢五衰日。
